Originally developed for self-defense, tai chi has evolved into a graceful form of exercise that’s now used for stress reduction and a variety of other health conditions. Often described as meditation in motion, tai chi promotes serenity through gentle, flowing movements. This is beginner group who will meet every Monday from 10:00AM-11:00AM

The Lumpkin County Library is partnering with the Dahlonega Rotary Sunrise to host a free shredding event for the community. Document Destruction Services will be at the library from 10 am – 12 pm. Volunteers from the Rotary will be facilitating the event. Community members may bring up to five boxes of materials to be shredded. (You must take your empty boxes). Please remove any metal clips or bindings prior to bringing your materials. (Note: Document Destruction Services will travel to the Dawsonville branch for shredding from 1 – 3 p.m. that same afternoon)
