Join us monthly as we read and discuss books about Georgia, set in Georgia and by Georgia authors. We are all about Georgia! This month’s selection will be Untamed Woman: The Wildest Woman in America and the Fight for Cumberland Island by Will Harlan.
Yvonne will discuss how genetic genealogy (using DNA results with traditional genealogy) and elements of the Genealogical Proof Standard (GPS) can be used to crumble brick walls and assert proof that your ancestors are truly yours. Join us at 10:30 for coffee and light refreshments, and the presentation will begin at 11:00 a.m. This program is sponsored by the Friends of Lumpkin County Library.
