Lumpkin County Library Circulation Assistant,
Part Time, 10 hours per week

The Circulation Assistant staffs the circulation desk, registers and assists patrons, checks library materials in and out, answers the phone, handles hold requests, shelves and straightens, and performs other general library duties.

Requires at least a High School diploma or GED. Pays $10.38 per hour.

Schedule:
Fridays: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Saturdays: 10:30 AM – 3:30 PM

The Circulation Assistant staffs the circulation desk, registers and assists patrons, checks library materials in and out, answers the phone, handles hold requests, shelves and straightens, and performs other general library duties.

Tuesdays: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Wednesdays: 11:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Thursdays: 10:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Food for Fines Print E-mail

Throughout November, Lumpkin County Library and Dawson County Library will accept 2 cans or boxes of non-perishable food for each one dollar of fines. Please note that fines can only be removed from items owned by, checked out from, and returned to Dawson and Lumpkin County Libraries. The food will then be distributed to local food pantries. This is an opportunity to clear up your library fines and make someone’s holiday season better at the same time!

The Food for Fines program will run from November 1st-November 26th. For more information please call the Dawson County Library at 706-344-3690 or the Lumpkin County Library at 706-864-3668.
