Come share former Peace Corps Volunteer’s experience teaching English in rural Madagascar, where lemurs lurk in the forests, funeral rites are more than elaborate, and taboos abound.
Living in the southernmost region of the island, she came to learn the language, unique culture, and dignity of the Antandroy tribe. Translated in English, the name means “People of the Thorns,” an appropriate appellation for people living in the extreme and extraordinary spiny forest.
