New Storytime Sessions Are in Swing for Spring!

Come meet Miss Leah at Dawson County’s Spring Storytime Sessions!
Begins the week of March 1st.
Tuesdays, March 6th – April 10th at 10:30 am
This half hour program is designed for babies to encourage development and learning through stories, songs, sign language, and finger plays! For babies ages 0-23 months and their parents or caregivers. No registration required.
Movers and Shakers
Thurdays, March 1st – April 5th at 10:00 am
This 45 minute program includes stories, songs, rhymes, fingerplays and a craft to encourage language development and literacy. For children ages 2-5 with parent or caregiver. No registration is required, but, please call ahead if bringing a group of 5 or larger.
Tuesday, March 13th & Tuesday, April 10th at 6 pm
Put on your most snuggly pajamas and join us for stories, crafts, and snacks. Fun for the whole family! This program lasts 45 minutes and no pre-registration is required, but, please call ahead if bringing a group of 5 or larger.
Lumpkin County Library
Join us for our Spring Session of Storytimes at Lumpkin County Library!
Begins the week of March 12th.
Mondays, March 12th – April 16th, 11:00 am
It’s never too early to chew on a good book! The storytimes include songs, action rhymes, and stories to build a foundation of early literacy for your baby. Structured activity for 15 minutes with playtime after. The program lasts approximately 45 minutes. Ages: Birth – 23 months.
Building Blocks Storytime
Wednesdays, March 14th – April 18th, 11:00 am
The program lasts approximately 45 minutes and may include songs, finger plays, and crafts in addition to the stories. Building Blocks Storytime is designed for children ages 2 to 5. No pre-registration is required, but groups larger than five are requested to call at least two days in advance.
Thursday, March 15th & Thursday, April 19th, 6:00 pm
You are welcome to wear your PJ’s and bring your teddy bear to this special evening-edition of storytime. We’ll share a couple of stories and rhymes, and create a fun craft to take home. The program lasts approximately 45 minutes. All ages welcome!
