The Lumpkin County Library is excited to partner with local Tinkergarten instructor Danyell Ballou to provide four free programs this summer, on the first and third Thursdays of June and July from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Tinkergarten activities are nature-based education classes for kids 18 months to 8 years of age. The Tinkergarten classes are always outside when possible, but the programs will be held rain or shine. Families are welcome to stop in during these hours to participate. Tinkergarten activities encourage children to explore, get messy, and have fun, while developing important lifelong-learning skills such as problem solving, self-reliance, collaboration, empathy, and communication.
