If you’re looking for a way to reduce stress, consider tai chi (TIE-CHEE). Originally developed for self-defense, tai chi has evolved into a graceful form of exercise that’s now used for stress reduction and a variety of other health conditions. Often described as meditation in motion, tai chi promotes serenity through gentle, flowing movements. This is beginner group who will meet every Monday from 10:00AM-11:00AM

Gather to work on your current project and have a fun time with fellow knitters. Beginners welcome…just bring your own yarn & needles (size 8 in the 10 inch length are recommended for newbies). We’ll even have some yarn for you to use if you’d just like to try it out! This club is for ages 18 and up, completely free and open to the public. Come get knitty at the library!
The program lasts approximately 45 minutes and may include songs, fingerplays, and crafts in addition to the stories. Building Blocks Storytime is designed for children ages 2 to 5. No pre-registration is required, but groups larger than five are requested to call at least two days in advance.
