Drop-in program with STEAM stations for all ages. We will explore a different STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) topic each month with different stations to explore at your own pace. September’s theme: motion. Ages 3+
The program lasts approximately 45 minutes and may include songs, fingerplays, and crafts in addition to the stories. Building Blocks Storytime is designed for children ages 2 to 5. No pre-registration is required, but groups larger than five are requested to call at least two days in advance.

The Happy Bookers Book discussion group meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at 1:30 p.m. in the downstairs meeting room of the library. The group discusses a different book each month. Selections are chosen from fiction, nonfiction, bestsellers, and literary works. September’s selection: “Dopesick” by Beth Macy.
This is a driver safety course conducted by AARP volunteers. Learn about current rules of the road and defensive driving techniques. Those 25 and older who complete the class are eligible for a discount on their auto insurance. The course is specifically designed for drivers over the age of 50, but it is an excellent review of Georgia laws and safe driving practices for everyone.
