AARP Defensive Driving Course @ Lumpkin County Library

This is a driver safety course conducted by AARP volunteers. Learn about current rules of the road and defensive driving techniques. Those 25 and older who complete the class are eligible for a discount on their auto insurance. The course is specifically designed for drivers over the age of 50, but it is an excellent review of Georgia laws and safe driving practices for everyone. Tai Chi

If you’re looking for a way to reduce stress, consider tai chi (TIE-CHEE). Originally developed for self-defense, tai chi has evolved into a graceful form of exercise that’s now used for stress reduction and a variety of other health conditions. Often described as meditation in motion, tai chi promotes serenity through gentle, flowing movements. This is beginner group who will meet every Monday from 10:00AM-11:00AM
