Join us at the library for a Sneak Peek of a new genealogy collection that will be housed in our Georgia History & Genealogy room. We are pleased to announce the addition of the Margaret Meaders collection. Margaret Meaders was born in Lumpkin County and took a strong interest in the history of Lumpkin County. The library now houses many of Margaret’s articles, speeches, research notes, and more. Get a “sneak peek” of this collection before it becomes available to the public. Light refreshments, compliments of the Friends of the Lumpkin County Library will be available.
