Genealogy for Beginners

Have you been thinking about tracing your family’s past? Don’t know where to start? Our Genealogy for Beginners class at the Lumpkin County Library can help! It will provide a solid starting point so you will feel comfortable digging into your family history, as well as go over resources, methodology, how to organize your research, and more. Read It and Eat It

Teens, come to the Lumpkin County Library to participate in a monthly book discussion and enjoy some food provided by the Friends of the Library! This program will be on the first Thursday of each month from 4 – 4:45 pm. It is open to teens in 6th thru 12th grade. No registration is required.

Needlework Fridays

Description:Gather to work on your current project and have a fun time with fellow needlework fanatics! Whether you like crochet, knitting, cross stitch, needlepoint, quilting, or anything in between, this group is open to all! Beginners welcome! (However there is no instructor.) This club is for ages 18 and up, completely free and open to the public.

Stitch in Time Crafting Activity

Library Got Game!

The Lumpkin County Library is pleased to announce a new program for all ages – Library Got Game! This
program offers a wide variety of board games and card games for all to enjoy, such as: Code Names,
Kings in the Corner, Monopoly, Battleship, Settlers of Catan, Carcassone, Sequence, Rummikub, and
many more. It will be hosted at the library on the Second Saturday of each month from 10 am – 2 pm.
All ages are welcome. No registration is required. Come join us for Library Got Game!

Reading to Joey
