Building Blocks Storytime will be held on Wednesday mornings at 11 a.m. The programs last 45 minutes to an hour and may include songs, fingerplays, and crafts in addition to the stories. Building Blocks Storytime is designed for children ages 4 to 5. No registration is required, but groups larger than five are requested to call at least two days in advance. Google is more than a search engine! Need a map? A calculator? Need to know what time it is in Tokyo? This FREE class will focus on internet searching, specifically with the use of the Google search engine. Learn tips and tricks to get the most out of your Google browsing! Registration is required.
In partnership with the Dahlonega Rotary Sunrise, the library will be offering a free shredding day for the community. You may bring up to five boxes of documents to be shredded. Please remove all metal clips, strips, etc., for the safety of our volunteers.
The Happy Bookers Book discussion group meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at 1:30 p.m. in the downstairs meeting room of the library. The group discusses a different book each month. Selections are chosen from fiction, nonfiction, bestsellers, and literary works. June’s selection: “The Silent Patient” by Alex Michelides.
