All meetings are open to the public. Members of the public may be allowed to speak at the end of the regular business session, if recognized by the Chairman. Visitors may not participate in board discussion of items on the agenda.
Become a Board Member
Every year vacancies occur on the Chestatee Regional Library System, Lumpkin County Library, and Dawson County Library Boards of Trustees. County Commissioners appoint board members for four-year terms. If you are interested in serving on the Library Board of Trustees, please read the Expression of Interest/Board Application document, then fill it out and return it to your local library or mail to the library director at the address provided.
